Juan is responsible for the sourcing, diligence, execution, monitoring and monetization of Halo portfolio company investments. Prior to Halo, Juan spent two years as a senior investment professional at Gamut Capital Management, where he focused on operational turnarounds and strategic add-on acquisitions in the industrials sector. Prior to Gamut, Juan was a senior investment professional at The Sterling Group, where he focused on investments in operationally complex industrial and services businesses. Prior to the Sterling Group, Juan was an investment professional with Greenbriar Equity, where he evaluated and executed investments focused on the transportation, logistics, and aerospace sectors. Prior to Greenbriar, Juan worked with the M&A team at Credit Suisse and taught with Teach for America. Juan has an MBA from Stanford GSB and studied mechanical engineering and management science at MIT.
